On the road again

Looooooong time since my last post here, but despite the evidence for the contrary, i’m not dead.

Been extra busy lately, mostly with the net cafe, but also with some other VERY interesting things that are in the works

And, i got a new hobby – or maybe i should say a new madness. It’s about Daleks, and to be more exact about the Dalek that i’m planning on building. Thus far i’ve got the obsession (always a good start), and i seem to have also found a space to build – thing is the space also needs work, but that will be done anyway cause it will also be used for some of the other interesting things that are coming soon.

Today i got my Dalek workshop manual in the mail, heard some very good (and totally unrelated with the Dalek) news, and it really seems to be the rarest of all days – a good one!

A big thanks to Imba for bearing with me all this time, through the pressure from my job, and standing by me with my newest obsession when everybody else just tells me i’m mad I love you babe!

Fiery dreams

Had a really nice weekend.

Didn’t get much sleep, but i had a great time – and i was in desperate need for some shuteye..

So there i am, getting to bed, reading 3 paragraphs of my book, so that i could say that i actually did read some before i slept, turning off the light and snoring – gently – only to be woken up by some loud bangs. In the beggining i thought they were from inside the flat. And then i got outside…

Insomnia

It’s a really bad illness .

But what do you do when its a choice – and not something pathological?

Do you search for the reasons, or just play along, waiting for it to end?

Were do you draw the line? When does this feeling reach the point were it has to be supressed before it actually hurts you?

Is it premonition, or were the things that happend during the day just a result of last night’s insomnia? But that is kind of like the chicken and the egg question – the answer aint that simple, and it’s certainly not included in the question.

Roll on the next day then… and let’s see what that will bring

45?

Today i made a mistake.

I decided it was finaly time to go and buy the front disk rotor for my old XR – but i didn’t check the temperature first :/

45 degrees Celcius ain’t exactly what i’d call comfortable, not even with the new air-flow jacket i’ve got.

Take also into account that most of the traffic lights were out because of power surges, and i guess that it’s clear why i cant actually walk at this moment.

Well, since i didn’t faint on the bike, i guess it’s a good day!
